Lockheed Martin to Provide AH-1Z Targeting

The Naval Surface Warfare Center has awarded Lockheed Martin two contracts for the fire control target sight system (TSS) on the U.S. Marine Corps’ fleet of Bell AH-1Z Cobras. The $30.6 million contracts will provide the UMSC with program support as well as spare parts and units for the Cobras. Production of the TSS units is slated to continue until 2018 at Lockheed Martin’s facilities in Ocala and Orlando, Fla.
