Russian Air Force Expands Fleet

Russian Helicopters has reached an agreement to provide the Russian Air Force with up to 30 Kamov Ka-226s by 2020, according to Defense Ministry spokesman Vladimir Drik. The Air Force’s training center in Torzhok already took delivery of 17 helicopters in December 2011, including Mi-8MTVs, Mi-28Ns, Mi-35s and Ka-52s. Four Ka-226s were projected for delivery to the training center by the end of January.
