ASU Hosts Night Vision Awards Ceremony

Boise, Idaho-based Aviation Specialties Unlimited (Booth 9451) has announced the winners of its second annual Night Vision awards, which will be presented on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Ballroom A2 of the Dallas Convention Center. The awards are given to public service aviation units—including EMS, law enforcement, firefighting and SAR—that employ night vision goggles (NVG) as part of regular operations.

ASU will award Travis County STAR Flight in Texas with the Mark of Excellence award, with the Community Awareness award going to Texas Department of Public Safety. The Los Angeles County Fire Department Air Operations Unit is being recognized with the 10-Year Service award, and ASU will honor California’s REACH Air Medical Services, Pennsylvania’s STAT MedEvac and Collier County MedFlight in Florida with 5-Year Service awards.
