Helicopter Industry Association of Russia and Oboronprom’s Russian Helicopters (Booth 3422) is bringing back what has become an annual ritual at Heli-Expo—Russian Hour. The manufacturer is displaying four variants at the trade show intended for the North American market.
Representatives from Russian Helicopters and two large operators, PANH Helicopters and UTair, will provide updates on various topics, including fleet upgrades, heavy lift cargo, construction operations, safety in over-city flights and plans for future global expansion. Russian Helicopters also intends to sign a cooperation agreement with the International Helicopter Safety Team (IHST) involving IHST-CIS during the show, and Helicopter Industry Association President and Kamov Chief Designer Sergei Mikheev will present a Medal for Distinguished Contribution to Sergei Sikorsky.
