Aero Dynamix Upgrades U.S. MD500s

Euless, Texas-based Aero Dynamix (Booth 9258) has handed over a pair of MD500s with upgraded night vision goggle (NVG)-certified cockpits to the U.S. government. The company has also obtained a follow-on contract for two additional MD500s. Night vision imaging system (NVIS) modifications include to the avionics, edge panels, instrument overlays, switches/warning indicators and external navigation.

Dennis Trout, general manager for Aero Dynamix, explains that the MD500s are used for airborne law enforcement and national security operations.
