Marines Hold Wildfire Training Exercise

The California Department of Fire Protection and the U.S. Marine Corps took part in the fifth annual Wildland Firefighting Exercise on May 10 at Camp Pendleton. Equipped with Bambi Buckets, Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallions and Boeing Vertol CH-46 Sea Knights with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 465 and Marine Medium Helicopter Training Squadron 164, respectively, dispersed water over marked sites as part of the exercise.
