Boeing Obtains Apache Block III Contracts

Boeing has won a $486-million contract related to the AH-64D Apache Block III low rate production and support. Work will take place at the company’s facility in Mesa, Ariz., running through November 2014. The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal has also issued a $172-million contract to procure Apache Block III helicopters in support of the foreign military sales (FMS) program. Boeing expects to wrap up work on the second contract in December 2014.
