Evergreen Wins Hawaii Helicopter Contract

The U.S. Army’s Contracting Command at Fort Shaffer, Hawaii, has granted Evergreen Helicopter an $8.1-million contract to support EMS, firefighting and other missions on Oahu and Hawaii (the Big Island). The agreement calls for the McMinnville, Ore-based operator to supply helicopter services at the U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii’s Department of Defense Property and training areas on the two islands. Work is scheduled to take place at Wheeler Army Airfield and Pohakuloa training area. The contract runs through June 2013.
