The Helicopter Museum is reporting an increase in women volunteers working in the conservation and restoration of the museum’s aircraft. Several of the female volunteers are also studying aeronautical and aerospace engineering. “These ladies have demonstrated it isn’t just a male preserve and that the museum can equally provide interest and experience for women as well,” said Sharon Webber, assistant manager of The Helicopter Museum.
