Sydney-based Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) has incorporated a Bell 206B-1 Kiowa simulator—which the Australian Army uses for initial Pilot training—into the Oakey Army Aviation Training Center. The Helicrew simulator allows BDA instructors to present a variety of scenarios. Boeing supplies Kiowa, Boeing CH-47 Chinook and Sikorsky Black Hawk training, operational fleet maintenance and support services for pilots, crew and mechanics through an Army Aviation Training and Training Support (AATTS) contract issued in 2007.
