Bell Helicopter has handed over the initial 429 to leave its Singapore Service Center to PT Whitesky Aviation, which is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The corporate-configured Bell 429 increases PT Whitesky’s fleet to five helicopters, including another 429 and three Bell 407s. The Textron subsidiary launched the 160,500-square-foot Singapore facility in July 2012, offering training, completions, refurbishments, parts and other maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. PT’s latest 429 comes with Bell’s kit to boost the gross weight of the helicopter to 7,500 lbs.
