Rockwell Collins Wins Black Hawk, Chinook Contracts

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Rockwell Collins has secured two bids from the U.S. Army Contracting Command related to the Boeing CH-47 Chinook and Sikorsky UH-60. The first agreement, valued at close to $80 million, covers UH-60 aircraft avionics and training device support services. Work will take place on location for each order, with completion targeted for November 2015. The second contract calls for Rockwell Collins to supply CH-47 software support in Cedar Rapids through the end of 2014 for around $16.5 million.
