Rolls-Royce Continues USMC, Air Force V-22 Engine Support

The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command has issued a $52.2-million extension to Rolls-Royce covering AE 1107C engine support on U.S. Marine Corps and Air Force Bell-Boeing V-22 tiltrotors. Under the agreement, Rolls-Royce will conduct engine repairs at facilities in Indianapolis, Ind. and Oakland, Calif., as well as remote operator sites. According to Rolls-Royce, there are more than 5,000 AE 1107Cs in service.
