The annual “Russian Hour” returns to Heli-Expo this year on Tuesday, March 6 at 1:00 pm at the Las Vegas Convention Center in room N110. Russian Helicopters will display its advanced-technology Kamov Ka-62, which feature Turbomeca Ardiden 3G engines, and Mi-171A2 in the United States for the first time. In addition, the manufacturer plans to detail its new joint project with AgustaWestland.

Russian Helicopters will also provide an update regarding Ka-32A11BC (shown here) operations in Canada. The appearance at Heli-Expo comes a couple weeks after the manufacturer announced plans to launch the Global Helicopter Firefighting Initiative (GHFI), an effort to increase the use of helicopters equipped with suspended firefighting systems, such as the Bambi bucket, water cannons and other fire suppression devices.
