U.S. Navy Buys Helmet Trackers from EFW

Fort Worth, Texas-based EFW Inc. has obtained an $11.8-million U.S. Navy contract to supply helmet display tracker systems (HDTS) for the Bell AH-1W. The agreement covers 11 P-kits, 65 A-kits, 11 installations and engineering/technical support. The contract states that 53 percent of the work will take place in Melbourne, Fla., with 45 percent in Haifa, Israel and the remaining two percent in Fort Worth. The schedule calls for work to wrap up in January 2015.
