FAA has granted parts manufacturer approval (PMA) to Cool City Electronics (dba Cool City Avionics) for its SAS-100 stability augmentation system. The PMA allows Cool City to manufacture the SAS-100 following an audit of the company’s quality management system. Cool City had already secured technical standard order (TSO) approval for the SAS-100, and a supplemental type certificate (STC) for installation on the Robinson R44. The company anticipates a TSO and an R44 STC for its FT-100 force trim system in June.
