CAE has started construction on its flight training center in Rimba, Brunei. Government officials from Brunei and executives from CAE attended the groundbreaking for the facility, which is part of a joint venture between CAE and the Brunei's Ministry of Finance.
The CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Center (MPTC) will initially feature five flight simulator bays, and already has long-term training contracts for the Sikorsky S-70i and S-92 helicopters, as well as the fixed-wing Pilatus PC-7. CAE is targeting April 2014 for completion of the new center.
