Honeywell Obtains T-55 Order for FMS Chinooks

The U.S. Army has granted a $29.4-million contract to Arizona-based Honeywell International to purchase T-55 engines for the Boeing CH-47 Chinook. The engines are intended for the foreign military sales (FMS) program. The contract is intended for potential future use on multiple orders. Locations and amounts “will be determined with each order,” according to the Department of Defense.
