Frasca International (Helitech Stand G14) says that Bristow Helicopters has received dual qualification for its Sikorsky S-76 full flight simulator (FFS).

It will be the third certified helicopter device under JAA, with both Level B FFS and Level III flight training device (FTD) approval. The two others are Bristow’s S-92 FFS and Eurocopter EC225 FFS, also built by Frasca, which qualified in 2011. Bristow Academy in Aberdeen employs the simulators to support training requirements for its global fleet. All three units feature six-axis electric motion base, TruVision Global visual system with custom databases and wrap around display system.
