Heli-Charter Buys First UK-Operated Bell 429 Air Ambulance

Bell Helicopter has opened a new maintenance center in Kent, England with the signing of a purchase agreement by Heli-Charter to acquire the first Bell 429 configured for helicopter air ambulance operations in the UK.

Heli-Charter has also been appointed as an authorized Bell Helicopter Customer Support Facility (CSF). The company holds EASA maintenance approval for the Bell 206, and will look to work with UK Air Ambulance Trusts and medical service operators to provide air patient medical transport with its new EMS-configured Bell 429.
