After 12 months of informal cooperation, the U.S.-based brokerage Avpro and European brokerage Heli Asset have announced the creation a new division within Avpro dedicated to helicopter sales and acquisitions. The move was confirmed at the annual NBAA convention in Las Vegas.
The companies claim that this places them as the biggest independent helicopter sales and acquisition service. Avpro’s financial strength is founded in its gross retail sales of $1 billion per year. Heli Asset provides four sales directors, each of whom have OEM expertise with AgustaWestland, Bell, Eurocopter and Sikorsky.
