U.S. Army Tabs Honeywell for T-55 Overhauls

Honeywell International’s facility in Tempe, Ariz. has received a $19.1-million contract for technical, logistics and engineering support, as well as materials, during the repair and overhaul of the T-55 series of engines. Work will take place at the Army’s facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Honeywell T-55 powers the Boeing CH-47 Chinook, MH-47 and Model 234.
