Uniflight Appoints Former Air Methods Exec as New President

Hawke Aerospace Holdings has hired Jim Fisher as president of its Uniflight subsidiary in Grand Prairie, Texas, which provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Fisher comes from Air Methods, where he was the accountable manager for Part 21 manufacturing and one of the company’s Part 145 operations.

He also served as chief operating officer (COO) and vice president of technical operations for Omniflight prior to the Air Methods acquisition in 2011. An A&P mechanic, Fisher previously worked at Chromalloy’s Part 145 Repair Station in San Antonio, Texas.
