Air Medical Group Fleet Replacement Involves 20 Bell LongRangers

West Plains, Mo.-based Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH) has purchased 20 Bell 206L-4 helicopters as part of a fleet replacement program for its EMS operations. AMGH operates through three subsidiaries – Air Evac Lifeteam, EagleMed and Med-Trans Corp. The helicopter air ambulance provider will incorporate the helicopters into various parts of its 115-base operation across 15 states in the U.S. Bell Helicopter plans to start deliveries during 2014, with final handover projected in 2017.
