FlightSafety International is installing a new Airbus Helicopters EC135 simulator in Dallas, Texas. Training is expected to begin in April 2014 following FAA Level D qualification.

The VITAL 1100 visual system significantly enhances training. It offers mission-specific imagery with vastly improved scene content, environmental effects, dynamic shadowing, enhanced shading, and a 200 x 60 degree field of view. The EC135 simulator is equipped with a Garmin avionics suite that includes the Garmin GMX 200 multi-function display and WASS certified Garmin GNS 430W and GNS 530W. It also features the SFIM 2-Axis Autopilot.
