Blue Hawaiian Tops Half-Million Hours with Arriel

Turbomeca (Safran) has announced the achievement of a major milestone for both Blue Hawaiian Helicopters and Turbomeca. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters is expected to exceed 500,000 flight hours on the Turbomeca Arriel engine prior to the end of the year.

Blue Hawaiian currently flies Arriel 1D1 and 2B1 engines, and has most recently added the Arriel 2D engine into its growing fleet of Turbomeca products. They fly an average of approximately 27,000 hours per year with a fleet of 24 helicopters, all powered by Turbomeca engines.
