Ulan-Ude Hands Over Mi-171Es to China-based Poly Technologies

Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant has delivered the final four Russian Helicopters Mi-171E transport helicopters to Poly Technologies in China. The successful transfer of these rotorcraft marks the end of a contract for 48 helicopters signed in 2012. Along with a follow-on contract, the company has received a total of 52 helicopters.

Equipped with VK-2500 engines, a Safir auxiliary power plant and an updated gearbox, the new helicopters are designed for missions in rugged terrain including humanitarian aid and transportation of medical and construction materials.
