Bell Helicopter will be showcasing the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X this month at the Africa Aerospace and Defense (ADD) show in Tshwane, South Africa. Currently, there are more than 170 Bell 206 Jet Rangers operating in Africa, most of them over 20 years old. The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is designed to replace the Bell 206, combining the previous model’s systems with modern technology and design.

The manufacturer has also announced its first joint appearance with Textron Systems at NATO Days, which will take place September 20 to 21 in the Czech Republic. This joint display will feature the Bell 429 in a HEMS configuration, along with Textron Systems’ Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System and the Aerosonde Small Unmanned Aircraft System.

The U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command will also be featuring the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey in static and dynamic display at the conference.
