Summit Air Ambulance has taken delivery of the first of two EMS-equipped AgustaWestland AW119Kx. Summit already has a number of twin AW109E Power helicopters in addition to its fixed wing fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. Both of the helicopters will feature the certified Garmin G1000HTM flight deck system which includes a synthetic vision system, moving map, highway in the sky and obstacle/terrain avoidance systems for enhanced situational awareness and safety.
