The Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) has appointed Brian Wynne as its new president and CEO, to replace the retiring Michael Toscano. Wynne is currently the president of the Electric Drive Transportation Associatino (EDTA), a post he has held since 2004. "I am excited to be joining AUVSI at this pivotal time for the unmanned systems and robotics industry," Wynne said. "From unmanned aircraft to ground robots to maritime systems to automated vehicles, this industry will continue to revolutionize our daily lives," said Wynne. He will assume the new role on Jan. 12, 2015.
