Matt Long has been promoted from the assistant VP of finance to vice president of finance at Columbia Helicopters, effective since Jan. 2, 2015. Long replaces Stan Wilson, who was promoted from his role of president and vice president of finance to chairman of the board of directors. Long has been with Columbia Helicopters for seven years, beginning as an assistant controller and later assuming the role of interim controller.

FlightSafety International has promoted Danny Robayo to manager of its Learning Center in Teterboro, N.J., replacing Greg Wedding who recently retired. Robayo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from St. Peter’s University in New Jersey, and has been with FlightSafety at the Teterboro Learning Center since 1991. He has held several positions with the company over the years including pilot and maintenance training instructor for the Dassault Falcon 10, Falcon 50 and Falcon 50EX aircraft, program manager for Falcon 50 and 50EX training, and director of training. Danny most recently served as assistant manager of the training center.

Stephen Foster has been named director of operations for Sabreliner Aviation, a growing, customer-focused provider of flight support for civil and military fixed-wing and rotary-wing


Foster joined the company earlier this year, and is responsible for Sabreliner Aviation’s multi-site operation, based in Perryville, Mo. He brings more than 15 years of demonstrated operations and engineering leadership while at Eaton, Gulfstream Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney, where he worked for more than 12 years, serving as a manufacturing engineer, director of Engineering, operations manager and general manager.
