Extended range fuel systems for Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopters will be supplied to the governments of Korea, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreements according to a contracting announcement from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).

Robertson Fuel Systems has received the $45.3 million award for the fuel systems and associated support. Work will be completed in accordance with the requirements of each customer but all work is expected to be completed by the end of 2019.

The DoD has also announced that Raytheon has won a $10.4 million FMS order for Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems (MTS) that will be supplied to the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) for use on their MH-60R naval helicopters. The MTS will provide the RAN’s Seahawks with a sensor turret for long-range surveillance, high altitude target acquisition, tracking, range-finding and laser designation.

The RAN is procuring 24 MH-60R helicopters from Sikorsky with the order for the MTS due to be completed by April 2017.
