Aerox Aviation Oxygen Systems has announced a new remote high flow regulator for use with composite fiber-wrapped cylinders, designed specifically to meet the requirements of medevac helicopter operators.

The regulator is designed to provide regulated oxygen pressure to pilots, passengers, fill access port and high pressure condense gauge line ports, and is actuated form the cockpit through a cable connected to the actuator arm. Oxygen supply pressure can be pre-set, or fixed flow, or manually adjusted for desired flow rates. The aluminum and brass construction provides a durable valve body with protection from pressure shock and ignition.

Aerox also highlights their portable prO2 personal emergency oxygen systems that provide take anywhere convenience and safety. The prO2 system is designed to provide oxygen based on cabin pressure at 25,000 feet and will flow at this set rate for 17 minutes. The prO2 systems come standard with aluminum DOT 3AL cylinders that have no life limits and require recertification every five years.
