Bell Helicopter has delivered the first 407GXP to Brazil for use in Latin America's robust corporate transport segment. The aircraft was purchased by Medalhão Persa, a company based in Curitiba, Brazil. "The luxurious interior, combined with the smooth, quiet performance of the aircraft is exactly what I was looking for to quickly and comfortably conduct business throughout the region," said owner and CEO Masoud Jafari, who accepted the aircraft Sept. 3 at Bell's facility in Piney Flats, Tennessee. Brazilian workers primarily use helicopters to escape heavy traffic congestion in cities like São Paolo. According to an Oct. 2013 Strategic Defence Intelligence market report, light helicopters such as the 407GPX are revered in part because they provide "low price and latest technological advancements in the avionics and navigation systems."
