The FAA would be funded for another six months under legislation sent by Congress to the White House for President Obama's signature. The House of Representatives on Sept. 28 passed the "Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2015" to fund the aviation agency until March 31, 2016. Yesterday, the Senate passed that bill unanimously. Obama is expected to sign the bill today. Meanwhile, Congress is working on legislation to keep funding the federal government after midnight tonight, the expiration of the current federal fiscal year.
