The Civil Aviation Association of China has granted the first Level 5 rotorcraft device approval for Frasca International’s TruFlite R44/S300 FTD. Xilin Fengteng GA Corp. in southwest China will use TruFlite—which replicates either a Robinson R44 or Sikorsky S300—primarily for emergency procedures training. Frasca has also delivered its first Bell 407 GX full flight simulator to the Bell Helicopter Training Academy in Fort Worth, Texas. The simulator features Frasca’s TruCue six-axis vibration technology and a full size motion system. Bell obtained FAA Level B, EASA Level B and EASA Level 3 FTD approvals for the device.
