AHS International has named the recipients for its numerous awards that recognize leaders of vertical flight who have "served as a catalyst for stimulating technical advances." Among the awardees are Steven D. Weiner and Dr. Arvind Kumar Sinha, who are receiving the title of Honorary Fellow, which is granted to highly distinguished AHS members. Weiner is the chief engineer for the Sikorsky-Boeing Joint Multi-Role Rotorcraft and the chief engineer of innovations at Sikorsky. Sinha is the director of engineering of the Helicopter Systems Division, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group at Australia's Dept. of Defence. Both honorees, as well as the recipients of the other awards, will be recognized at AHS' 72nd Annual Forum and Technology Display in West Palm Beach, Florida, on May 18.
