Summit Will Explore Low-Level Infrastructure Initiatives

Attendees at R&WI's Rotorcraft Technology Summit in Fort Worth, Texas, Sep. 19 to 20 will hear from a panel addressing low-level infrastructure. If you haven't registered yet, you still have one day to do so under the early bird discount at

The session, "Low-Level Infrastructure: Routes, Heliports, and Weather," will include representatives of the U.S. Helicopter Safety Team, a helicopter operator and an OEM providing a briefing on new initiatives to improve such an infrastructure for operators both in the U.S. and in Europe.

In Switzerland, for example, Rega Swiss Air Ambulance has developed a low-level instrument flight rules network. Its head of corporate development, Stefan Becker, will share promising new applications during the session.
