Airbus Helicopters has sold 30 H225M Caracals to the Kuwait Ministry of Defence. The agreement includes an associated support and services package.

Airbus helicopters have been in service in Kuwait for 40 years, with Super Pumas, Pumas and Gazelles. Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury said the Kuwait National Guard has launched its helicopter squadron with Airbus aircraft.

The Caracal fleet will be used for missions including search-and-rescue, naval operations, medical evacuation and military transportation. They will be operated by the Kuwait Air Force and Kuwait National Guard.
