The Airbus Helicopters H135 joins the Airbus H175 and H145 T2 as a Helionix-capable aircraft, the company said. With the EASA Helionix type certificate, the H135 now has the option for increased mission flexibility and safety with the automatic flight control system (AFCS).

Helionix is a four-axis autopilot with three electronic displays and two touchscreen GPS/Nav/Comm GTN-750. The cockpit can support night vision goggle (NVG) technologies and has a First Limit Indicator, highlighting engine instrument data. Helionix also features a TAS620A traffic advisory system.

Approximately 1,200 Airbus H135s have been delivered around the globe. The light, twin-engine helicopter can be used in emergency medical services, law enforcement, corporate transport, military operations, wind park maintenance and other missions.
