Sikorsky Recognized as Florida’s 2016 Manufacturer of the Year

Sikorsky is Florida’s Manufacturer of the Year for 2016, according to parent company Lockheed Martin. The award was presented by the Manufacturers Assn. of Florida at the 13th Annual Manufacturers Summit and Marketplace.

Sikorsky manufactures and tests the UH-60M Black Hawk, CH-148 Cyclone and CH-53K King Stallion developmental aircraft at its West Palm Beach, Florida, facility. The company has been there for nearly 40 years. Lockheed Martin has about 12,000 employees across the state, working in space exploration, missile and sensor development and manufacturing, information technology, undersea systems, and training and simulation.
