Women in Aviation International (WAI) is getting ready to host its 28th annual conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. From March 2 to 4, attendees can participate in classes and presentations and celebrate scholarship awards and Girls in Aviation Day Orlando slated for the final day.

“Every conference, we like to highlight our various activities ranging from our keynote speakers to our special luncheon and banquet events, in addition to dozens of education sessions,” said WAI President Dr. Peggy Chabrian. “This year we’ve organized our education sessions by relevant subject tracks to make it easier for our attendees of varying interests to plan their time and get the most information they can during the WAI Conference.”

Scheduled conference events include tours, professional development presentations, networking opportunities and more. Sessions are presented and/or sponsored by companies like Boeing and and FedEx Express; and by organizations like the FAA and the U.S. military. The Pioneer Hall of Fame Ceremony and Banquet is scheduled to close out the conference.
