Lord Launches Mobile App, Updates Warranty Program

Lord has a Bell Helicopter 407 main rotor hub on display at Heli-Expo.

Lord Corp. said it has launched a mobile app designed to showcase available parts for maintenance, repair and overhaul customers. Called LORD MRO Services, the free app is available on iOS platforms and will be available for demonstration at the company's booth (2817).

The MRO services provider developed the app to allow customers to have full access to OEM part numbers, Lord part numbers, service types and Lord pricing for 15 of the 25 platforms Lord currently services. It enables operators to instantly access the company's rotary-wing capability information.


Lord also said it has extended its warranty program and repair offerings for various components on several platforms, including the Bell Helicopter 412, 206 and 430; and the Schweizer 300.

The company's proprietary active vibration control system products have also logged 2 million flight hours recently. More than 1,500 of the systems are in service across 10 different aircraft. Systems for eight additional models are currently development or seeking certification, the manufacturer said.
