Thales has unveiled three new solutions for civil helicopters.
One solution is a compact autopilot, touted as the smallest and lightest in the market, and is designed for use in any sized helicopter. It relies on an architecture based on two sets of three smart actuators that can be configured for three or four axes with advanced modes like hover and departure.

The second solution is connectivity-enabled functionalities on its Avionics 2020 future cockpit. The new system integrates secured avionics data and open-world connectivity data.
The third is an eyes-out solution inspired by the TopMax visor for civil fixed-wing pilots. The full-color, head-up system is compatible with all helmets and head-worn equipment. An unveiling event will be held at the technology provider’s booth (2628) on March 7 at 2:30 p.m.
