Policy Conference to Talk Trump’s Infrastructure Plan

The Committee for Economic Development (CED) is set to host the 2017 Spring Policy Conference in Washington, D.C. It is planned for April 19 to 20 at the Willard InterContinental Hotel.

The committee said it is to take place in conjunction with the Governance Center at The Conference Board. Thought leaders from the business, policy and academic sectors are to convene over the two days to hear share insights on the country’s related issues and priorities.

April 19 will play host to a panel that plans to discuss the outlook for President Donald Trump’s infrastructure plans. Panelists include:

  • Robyn Buerstling, VP of the National Assn. of Manufacturers (moderator)
  • Tom Armstrong, CEO of Duer/Carolina Coil
  • Robert Puentes, president and CEO of Eno Center for Transportation
  • Richard Geddes, professor and director of the Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy at Cornell University
