Waypoint Leasing Ltd. is set to deliver a Leonardo AW139 to Hevilift Group, Waypoint said. The helicopter would be used to offshore oil and gas operations.

“We’ve been working with Hevilift for four years now and are pleased to complete another transaction with a trusted operator,” said Philip Stransky, Waypoint’s VP of sales and relationship management for Asia. “We look forward to continuing our partnership as they continue to grow their business through a diverse range of operations.”

Hevilift has locations in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar. The company’s fleet of fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft fly oil and gas, mining, survey, air medical, VIP transport, construction, firefighting and other missions. The AW139 would add to Hevilift’s fleet, which is composed of the Airbus Helicopters AS350 B3, Bell Helicopter 407, Bell 412/212, Sikorsky S-76 and Mil-8-MTV.
