Textron Aviation’s Able Aerospace Services is now certificated to work in India, Able said. The maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company has earned certification from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India to provide MRO and approved replacement parts support for both rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft.

“With DGCA certification, Able can establish trusted local channel partners and quickly expand parts and repair resources,” said Able Business Development Manager Jason Lindauer, “allowing Indian operators and maintenance teams to access our solutions easily and at some of the industry’s most competitive prices.”

Able serves both commercial and military customers in more than 60 countries. It has certifications from the FAA, EASA, Civil Aviation Administration of China, Japan’s Civil Aviation Bureau, Thailand DCA and Brazil’s ANAC. The company can serve Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Leonardo and other aircraft platforms.
