Dart Aerospace is showcasing several products for European-built helicopters next week at Helitech as it pursues its expansion in that region of the world.

“We saw the need to expand our market share to European regions in recent years to respond to customer demand there," said Dart Aerospace President and CEO Alain Madore. “As such, our main goal at Helitech will be to follow up with our multiple project developments and meet with our clients.”

Based in Hawkesbury, Ontario, the privately held Canadian company has been building a regional team for Europe. In 2014, it struck a deal with Heliswiss Iberica of Barcelona, Spain, to be a non-exclusive distributor and marketer of Dart products in Spain, Portugal and Western Europe. Last year, it opened a U.K.-based office to focus on customer service in Europe.

At its Helitech International display at Booth F100, Dart will be featuring a wide range of products, including emergency float systems for the Airbus H145 (including an integrated life raft) and the Leonardo AW109, a high-capacity cargo net for the Leonardo AW139 and a field maintenance kit for the Airbus AS350. Dart also is exhibiting the Robinson R66 Heli-Utility-Basket.

Dart also will be hosting a cocktail reception Oct. 3, the first day of the show, at its booth at 3:30 p.m.
