Able Aerospace Services will be briefing current and potential customers on new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for the Bell Helicopter 429 and in the general India market during Helitech International next week.

The Textron Aviation subsidiary, which will be exhibiting at Booth E50 during the London show Oct. 3 to 5, is rolling out in-house MRO capabilities for the Bell light twin. Able said it is the world’s only Bell-certified 429 service center and its capabilities include the repair and overhaul of all higher assemblies (transmission, main rotor hub and tail rotor gearbox).

The Mesa, Arizona-based company also will brief Helitech attendees on its newly received certification by India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation to provide repair, overhaul and approved replacement parts support for rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft registered in India.

Able will be using touchscreen technology at its booth to brief attendees on the 429 and India news, new state-of-the-art flight deck and its 10,000 FAA-approved repairs and MRO capabilities.

“Able has invested in technology that allows us to virtually showcase our products and capabilities, and we’re excited to bring that experience to Helitech attendees,” said Able VP of Business Generation John Celigoy. “Operators don’t have to visit our facility for an insider’s look at how Able can help save them time and money. We’re coming to them.”

Able supports civilian and military aircraft with Agusta Bell, Airbus Helicopters, Bell, Leonardo and Sikorsky, with certification from regulators in Brazil, China, Europe, India, Japan and the U.S.
