German defense has ungrounded its fleet of Eurocopter Tigers, Reuters reported. The grounding, lifted last week, was implemented after the July 26 crash of an Army Aviation Corps Tiger in the West African nation of Mali that killed two crewmembers.

According to the news report, the ministry is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.

Although ungrounded, the report said the ministry has placed restrictions on airspeed, weight and use of autopilot. Additional safety inspections are also reportedly required.
